Puppy Training Classes

Puppy training classes are the first step to make sure your new puppy becomes a welcome addition to your family. This means having a socialized and well behaved dog. Basic commands such as sit, stay, come and drop are part of the early learning for a puppy and all have roles in helping us communicate with our new friends.

One of the most important training tips is to make sure our puppies and dogs sit and wait (ie say please) before they get any food (treats) or reward (pats). This helps prevent separation anxiety and encourages good behaviour. By doing this our dogs know that everything will be supplied to them food, love and attention but they must earn this first by sitting and waiting,i.e “nothing in life is free”.
