Fleas

These annoying brown insects can cause dogs and cats to scratch and chew their skin. This chewing can cause secondary bacterial infections and keep you awake at night! Fleas can also transmit bacterial diseases such as mycoplasma haemophilius in cats, which leads to anemia and death, if not treated.

Fleas can be now be easily prevented by treating all pets in the house with spot on, sprays or tablets and the environment they live in with tablets or flea foggers.

Ticks

Ticks can kill your pet cat or dog by paralysing their respiratory muscles or heart. Luckily they can be prevented with 2 weekly spot ons, 3 weekly spray, or tablets taken every 2nd day. Even when using prevention products still check your pet daily. 80% of ticks are found forward of the shoulders around the head and neck.
