Georgia Peoples

Veterinarian

Georgia is a graduate from James Cook University where she was awarded a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Distinction. She previously completed a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney. She found her passion for surgery whilst completing placement desexing animals at the Townsville Animal Shelter during her degree.

She is currently completing her Certification in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee so that she can get her patients back to living their most active lives. Her favourite case so far has been helping a recently paralysed dog get used to his new life with a wheelchair. He now loves scooting around with his family as though nothing has changed!

Outside of VetMed you can often find Georgia enjoying the surf and sand at Bondi or planning her next weekend away travel plans.
