How Vetmed Can Help

If you are experiencing behavioural issues with your cat or dog in Sydney, VetMed can help by making significant changes in your pet’s behaviour. Whether you’re finding all walks to be a burden because your dog is so unruly or you don’t understand what your cat wants from you because he won’t stop yowling, we can find a guide you to finding a solution.

The experts at VetMed can come to your home or work with you at our clinic to evaluate the temperament of your pet, ask questions and find suitable solutions. We have extensive experience and knowledge dealing with behavioural issues in pets and training them. We’ll combine training in both ethology and psychology in order to deliver the most humane and effective treatment.

What Is Involved In The Consultation?

The initial consultation can take up to an hour and a half for serious behavioural issues. We’ll ask you about when the problem started, when it happens and what you’ve already done to try to remedy the situation. Then we’ll work directly with your cat or dog to assess them, discuss a diagnosis and what would be involved in a treatment plan, which we’ll begin during the first session.

Sometimes, all you need is one session. Nevertheless, we’re happy to provide in-clinic or home consultations in order to help you solve the behavioural problems of your pet.
